The Faculty of Sports of the UCAM has lived a very special day with the graduation of its seventh promotion of the Degree in CAFD.
More than one hundred students have received their scholarships and diplomas today in an event that has been chaired by Alejandro Blanco and José Luis Mendoza, the highest leaders of the COE and the UCAM, respectively.
Alejandro Blanco has wished the new graduates of the UCAM and encouraged them to be protagonists as professionals in the sports field: "You are the future of Spanish sport and the future of Spain, we need you to build a Spain with values".
He also praised the work of the Catholic University and its president in supporting athletes: "José Luis Mendoza has occupied a decisive position in Spanish sports because he cared about the training and the future of athletes. The change of Spanish sport, surpassing the American model, began in Murcia with the help of the UCAM, whose work is known throughout Spain and Europe. "
José Luis Mendoza has closed the event remembering that "all the work we do so that athletes can study is done by the hand of the COE".
And he has sent a message to the students thinking about their future: "Through sport you can do a very big good because it is a very important training vehicle in values".
