The Governing Board has given its approval to the project to create a 24-hour study hall in the current City Hall and the relocation of it in the old building of the Senior Center of San José de la Vega.
The current Mayor's Office and the Senior Center are located in separate buildings, separated by a central area that is occupied by the Church.
On the ground floor of the current City Hall will be located a 24-hour study room that will occupy an area of ​​close to 60 square meters, plus a warehouse and an adapted toilet, and that will have a separate entrance on Victoria Street.
On the other hand, on the ground floor of the building currently occupied by the Senior Center will be enabled by the Mayor's Office that will have a waiting room, three offices, a meeting room, a Caritas store, two warehouses and two toilets, one of them adapted.
On the first floor in the center of major will be carried out works of reform and general painting.
In addition, both floors will be connected with an elevator.
This project is part of the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, coordinated by the Department of Pedanías, Participación y Decentralización, which is managed by Marco Antonio Fernández.
The maximum price amounts to 281,275 euros and the execution period is 6 months.
