The Universidad Internacional del Mar organizes the 'UMUCOM Summer School.
Workshops on Social Communication and Digital Culture ', which will take place from June 24 to 28 at the Faculty of Communication and Documentation of the Espinardo Campus.
From the Faculty of Communication and Documentation it is necessary to encourage interest in various aspects of social communication linked to the digitalization and dissemination of memory and cultural heritage.
All this, through the publication, through digital technologies, of multimedia contents that value the documentary resources that make up the funds of the archives, archives or other sources of cultural and informative value.
Throughout several workshops, teamwork will be combined to produce digital content with talks given by communication professionals.
In this edition, it is also intended to develop a collaborative digital communication project that will revolve around the history and life of the urban environment of the Segura River.
The main recipients of the activity are students of 4th of ESO and 1st of Baccalaureate of the profile of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, as well as students of advanced training cycles of 'Computer and Communications', 'Image and sound' or 'Graphic arts'.
