The Municipal Archive of Murcia, located in the Almudí Palace, celebrates its open day on Thursday and Friday on the occasion of the International Day of the Archives.
Among the organized activities are exhibitions, public readings and projections.
In addition, the Archive will remain open tomorrow from 9.30 am to 8 pm and Friday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Thus, the day tomorrow will begin with the opening of the exhibition 'The Huerta de Murcia: its landscapes and its people', a sample of brochures, books, posters and photographs whose theme revolves around the garden of Murcia, its landscapes and their peoples.
Later, at 10 o'clock, the public reading of poems by
Vicente Medina, presented by José Belmonte and with music by Ismael Galiana.
At 12 o'clock the audio-visual will be shown on the Municipal Archive, made by Manuel Muñoz Zielinski, which will be reproduced in different passes throughout the day.
On Friday, at 10 o'clock, this documentary will be shown again, while at 11 o'clock there will be a public reading of poems by Vicente Medina.
At 12.30 the act of delivery to the Brotherhood of the Blessed Souls of Patiño of digital images on salves and prayers will be performed, with a musical performance by the crew.
