This innovative chair was born to develop research and training activities in areas such as cosmetic-plastic or medical-surgical dermatology, trichology, cutaneous cancer prevention or the creation of healthy habits against the sun for the population.
So far, the Catholic University of Murcia and the company led by Dr. Asín have been collaborating with the development of two research projects - which have already led to the application for a patent - which are now reinforced with the creation of This Chair, unique in Spain.
The agreement has been signed by José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM, and Manuel Asín LLorca, specialist in dermatology and founding partner of the entity, and who will chair the Chair.
Estrella Núñez, Vice Chancellor of Research of the University, was also present at the event.
"It is an important part of dermatology, in addition, fully demanded by society, the idea is that the students of the UCAM come out with the best training also in this field," said Dr. Asin.
