The Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, directed by Rebeca Pérez, is implementing the improvement of street lighting in five districts that add to three others where these tasks have already been developed.
Thus, a total of 217 LED luminaires are being installed in different streets of Los Garres, Puebla de Soto, La Arboleja, Sangonera la Verde, El Esparragal, Monteagudo, Torreagüera and Gea and Truyols.
In Los Garres, on Miguel Angel Blanco Street and Camino Vejo de Los Garres, a total of 6 points of light will be installed with LED technology of 39 W of power and the total installed power will be 234 W.
In the streets Crossing Cura Barquero and street The Olma of Puebla de Soto is working in the installation of a total of 10 points of light of technology LED of 39 W of power, being the total power of 390 W.
In La Arboleja, Los Torres Street, 19 points of light will be placed with LED technology of 44.5 W of power, with a total installed power of 845.5 W.
For its part, in the Paraje de los Cucks of Valladolises will be installed 6 points of light of LED technology of 39 W of power, being the total installed power of 234 W.
In El Esparragal, on the way to Los Juanas and Las Palmeras Street, 22 points of light will be installed with LED technology of 39 W of power, with 858 W of total power.
They will be installed on metal poles 8.2 meters high with overhead lines.
In addition, lighting is being provided to the Mirador de Torreguil, in Sangonera la Verde, using spotlights for ground level lighting with only 2 watts of power, enough to allow access to the Mirador at night with safety but avoiding altering the exceptional conditions as privileged observation point of the municipality.
The low power of the projectors to be installed will make the light pollution generated by this installation negligible.
A total of 10 points will be installed with a total power of only 20 W.
These works are added to those that have already finished in Monteagudo, Gea and Truyols and Torreagüera.
In Monteagudo, lighting improvements have been made in La Luz street, Camino Mundo Nuevo, San José de la Cueva street and Tirso de Molina street in Las Lumbrera.
With these actions of renovation of obsolete facilities in Monteagudo, a reduction in consumption of 18,300 kw-hour is achieved, an annual economic saving of around 2,500 euros and 9 tons of CO2 will be released into the atmosphere.
In Gea and Truyols we have worked on the improvement and reinforcement of the existing public lighting in Paraje Pino Doncel, with 15 new light points, and in Casas de Lo Truyols, with 4 new points where LED lights of 39 W of power have been installed , on metallic pole of 8.2 m.
with the airlines.
The total installed power will be 741 W.
Lastly, Torreagüera has been equipped with public lighting at the Railroad Road, in which 26 new points have been installed, to complete the current installation to the Vereda de las Palmeras, and in the Carril del César and the Camino de los Fishermen, where 20 points of light have been installed.
The points are LED of 39 W of power, on metallic pole of 8.2 m, with the aerial lines.
The existing Command Center has also been renovated to equip it with the latest telemanagement technologies.
The total installed power will be 1,380 W
