The Department of Education organizes ten nature stays;
adventure and creativity;
maritime;
and mountain and multi-adventure in which elementary students will be able to participate for grades 3 to 6 of primary school.
Applications can be submitted on the website murciaeducadora.net and the list with the instances received and ordered alphabetically, as well as the exclusions, will be published on June 11
From now until Monday, June 10, the deadline to request the 500 places of the summer camps organized by the Department of Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage is open, as reported by the mayor of the area, Rafael Gómez, in the Board of Government, where the contracting of the service has been approved.
Participants must be registered in the municipality of Murcia, prior to April 1, 2019, and be studying the levels to which the activity requested is intended.
Only one camp shift is allowed.
The allocation of seats will be made by public drawing-in the case that the number of applicants exceeds the number of places called-for each camp.
The bulletin with the data of the applicant must be presented in the Education Service Avda. Abenarabi nº1 (6th floor) or be completed directly on the website, murciaeducadora.net (leisure and free time).
The deadline for submitting applications will be open from May 31 to June 10, both inclusive.
The list with the total number of applications received and ordered alphabetically, as well as the motivated exclusions, will be published on June 11.
If the number of applicants exceeds that of the places called, the public drawing will be held on June 12, at 10:00 am, in the Meeting Room of the Municipal Building of Abenarabi, 6th floor, Murcia, and a day later the provisional lists of admitted and waiting will be published, while the definitive list, of admitted and waiting, will be made public on June 14.
Only when it has been verified that the students are admitted will be made the admission, from June 14 to 18, through a payment letter through the website of the Municipal Tax Agency, and must present a copy of it in the Education Service in the Same date (from 9-14 hours), along with parental / maternal authorization.
On June 20, the vacancies will be awarded, which will be published in the Education Service C / Antwerp, 3, and in www.murciaeducadora.net, with the corresponding fee from June 20 to 24.
Regulated draw
Each school will have been assigned a number according to its alphabetical order.
The draw will consist of the extraction of a number for each of the rooms, which will determine the educational center from which the selection will be made, until covering the total number of places in each camp.
The initial letter of the center by which the selection begins will also be applied to alphabetize the list of schoolchildren of each school considered by the first surname.
The ordered list resulting from the draw and the waiting list will be displayed in the Education Service, Avda. Abenarabi 1 and in www.murciaeducadora.net.
Four types of camps
The camps are the following:
- Nature Camps in Sierra Espuña:
Stay of seven days (six nights) in the Nature Classroom "Las Alquerías" equipped with wooden cabins.
The students will carry out the following activities: interpretive itineraries, visit to the Fuente Teja spring, excursion to Aledo, adventure activities, climbing wall, monkey bridge, tree climbing, skackline (tense rope), T-shirt decoration, swimming in Caruana pool , night activities and fair decoration in the camp.
Directed to 3rd and 4th grade primary school children, with a participation of 50 boys and girls for each of the three shifts.
From July 1 to July 7, 2019
From 9 to July 15, 2019
From July 17 to 23, 2019

Fee contributed per student: € 237
- Adventure and Creativity Camps at Cenajo:
Stay seven days (six nights) in the facilities of the Cenajo Hostel, located 100 meters from the Hotel EcoCenajo (Moratalla), to perform: adventure activities, water games on the river, controlled swimming (shallow area), routes hiking and orientation, workshops with recycled materials and natural elements (juggling, musical instruments ...), aquatic gymkhana in the enclosure, ascent to the "Coto de las Maravillas", cultural outlet to Caravaca and Cehegín, evening evenings, group games , etc.
Directed to 5th and 6th grade primary school children, with a participation of 50 boys and girls for each of the two shifts:
From July 17 to 23, 2019
From July 25 to July 31, 2019.

- Nautical camps in the Mar Menor:
Stay of seven days (six nights) in the facilities of the holiday center "Animaciones y Aventura" (Los Alcázares), schoolchildren traveling by a tree-lined walk to the nautical facilities for sailing, canoeing, SUP jumbo, dragon, beach volleyball, acorsport, first aid, beach games, swimming, boat excursions, gymkhanas, board games, sports activities, artistic tour through Los Alcázares enjoying urban art, workshops, cinema, evening and animation evenings.
Aimed at 3rd and 4th grade primary school children, with a participation of 50 boys and girls for each of the two shifts:

From July 25 to July 31, 2019

- Mountain and Multiadventure Camps in Nerpio:
Stay seven days (six nights) at the 'Nogueras de Nerpio' (Albacete) facilities where the hostel is located, sports courts, swimming pools (outdoor and heated) and adventure area.
Schoolchildren will reside in this center to carry out: reading workshop, adventure trail along the river, controlled aquatic activities in the pool, planisphere workshop, astronomy workshop, musical storytelling, multi-adventure fair, ladder and pirate stick, shooting with arch, zip line, activity "treasure hunters", multi-adventure orientation races, air park, movie night and animated evenings.
