The City Council will transform seven streets of Lobosillo into semi-pedestrian streets (31/05/2019)

The Governing Board has approved the award of the paving works of Manuel González Marco Municipal Police Street and others in Lobosillo, a project included in the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías coordinated by the Department of Pedanías, Participación y Decentralización, which directs Marco Antonio Fernández.

In this manner, the pedestrian area will be used to create semi-pedestrian streets in Manuel González Marco Municipal Police Street and adjacent or nearby streets in order to favor sustainable mobility in the district.

Thus, pedestrian streets compatible with vehicular traffic will be transformed into streets Municipal Police Manuel González Marco, García Morato, Dr. Fleming, Sanjurjo, General Mola, Calvo Sotelo, the adjacent sidewalks and the crossing of Onésimo Redondo to San Pedro Apóstol.

The works, which will begin in the coming weeks and will be executed within two months, represent an investment of 112,590 euros.
