The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Public Services, Rebeca Pérez, visited Corvera this morning where various improvement works have been carried out on streets and sidewalks.
The works consisted in the rehabilitation and expansion of the sidewalks of the Church of Corvera Street, and the connection by means of a compatible pavement of traffic and pedestrian traffic from the garden of Rambla Street with the Plaza de la Iglesia.
To do this, the demolition of the deteriorated pavements to be renewed, both pavements and roadway, and the milling of the asphalt agglomerate in the necessary points.
The projected paving is prefabricated color paving.
The street of the Church had narrow sidewalks and in poor condition, due to the action of the roots of the existing trees while the sidewalks of Rambla Street, between the garden and the Church Square, were of sufficient size.
The works have been executed by Marcos Baeza Cano with an investment of 31,186 euros.
