The University of Murcia has delivered on Tuesday the awards of the 'IV Short Story Contest 2019' in an act that has taken place in the gallery of rectors of the Convalecencia building.
The three award-winning students have been:
Rocío Fernández Garcerán, from the nursing school in Cartagena, who has received the first prize worth 250 euros for her story 'Los Galantes'.
Clara Culebras Palao, from the Faculty of Nursing of Murcia, has received the second prize of 150 euros for her story 'Ponte en mis zapatos'.
Delia Martínez Martínez, from the Faculty of Nursing of Murcia, winner of the third prize endowed with 100 euros for her story 'Feel in its rightful measure'.
The winner of the first prize has highlighted that her story focuses on the role of Nursing in the care of chronic patients and the elderly;
not only in terms of techniques, but especially in the relationship with the patient.
The event was attended, among others, by Francisco Javier Martínez Méndez, vice-rector of Quality, Culture and Communication of the UMU, and David Armero Barranco, dean of the Faculty of Nursing of the UMU.
