110,000 contributed by the Autonomous Community and 160,000 financed by the UMU |
The University of Murcia has published the call for study grants for students who, due to unexpected causes or special circumstances, have been left without a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The Ministry of Employment, Business and Environment and the UMU publish these complementary aids to prevent these students from risking the abandonment of their studies because they do not have sufficient resources.
The deadline to apply for these scholarships ends on June 14.
The economic endowment of these scholarships is 270,000 euros, of which 110,000 are contributed by the program 'Universities' of the general direction of Universities and Research of the Ministry of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment of the Community, and 160,000 euros correspond to the budgets of the University of Murcia for the year 2019.
Students of the University of Murcia who are not beneficiaries of another scholarship or study aid of public or private nature declared incompatible with this call may be beneficiaries of these grants.
The amount of the scholarship will compensate totally or partially the academic expenses in the first registration of the 2018/2019 academic year.
All the information about the requirements and application forms can be found in the scholarships section and on the University bulletin board.
