The University of Murcia has inaugurated this morning the exhibition 'Fragmentos de realidades' by Juan Heredia in the general library of the Espinardo Campus.
In this exhibition, the artist invites the viewer to walk through recognizable places, to observe small details in which he had never repaired through the pictorial technique of pointillism or divisionism.
In the words of María José Carceles, curator of the exhibition, "the architectural art often goes unnoticed in everyday life, it is invisible, because sometimes we look at life in a general plane and that makes us lose the details".
Heredia is a plastic artist with a wide artistic experience, formed since childhood with painters like Carmen Tomás, Francisco Mas or Nicomedes Gómez.
Most of his works are recognizable places, animals or plants.
"It brings us closer to everyday life by making it visible, we see the beauty that surrounds us and we do not usually stop to look at it, much less analyze it, precious fragments of realities that we know are there, imitated with the environment in the different urban landscapes and that Thanks to their creativity and their work, they will be archived forever, "explains María José Cárceles.
The sample can be visited until next May 28.
