The University of Murcia organizes this Saturday, May 11, the II Championship of Spain University of Weightlifting that will be held in the Sports Campus of the Espinardo Campus.

The tournament will start at 9 am and its development will be extended until late afternoon, with phase 5 and final scheduled for 6:30 pm in the sports hall.

The Spanish Olympic medalist Lydia Valentín is registered in the competition in the Olympic Total category of 76 kilos.

The athletes that make up the cast of this championship treasure an exalted level and is expected to be an important appointment for Weightlifting nationwide.

The list of institutional entities that organize this championship is made up of the University of Murcia, the Spanish Committee of University Sports and the Superior Council of Sports, in addition to the collaboration of the Spanish Weightlifting Federation, the Weightlifting Federation of the Region of Murcia, the City Council of Murcia and Maximus.
