The University of Murcia celebrates this Wednesday, May 8, the first meeting 'DANUM: Citius, Altius, Fortius', which will take place at the University Social Center of the Espinardo Campus from 11.30 am.
The purpose of this meeting is to value and disseminate the difficulties that high level athletes endure to combine their studies with their sporting careers.
In addition, athletes who have already completed their studies will share with the attendees how their sporting experience has helped them succeed in their professional lives.
During the day there will be a small tribute to the winners in the recent Spanish University Sports Championships, as well as enjoying two round tables and a motivational coaching talk by the Olympic fencing medalist José Luis Abajo "Pirri".
