The National Agency for the Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation (ANECA) has given its approval to two new master's degrees from the University of Murcia.
In particular, they have received the positive verification of the ANECA the University Master's Degree in Dependency and the Master's Degree in Applied Optometry.
The intention of the University of Murcia is that both degrees are included in the academic offer of the next academic year, once the approval process has been completed by the Autonomous Community.
The Master in Dependency, of the Faculty of Social Work, is directed in a special way to graduates in Social Work, Anthropology and Nursing with a specific study objective: advanced knowledge of management and application of social policies of promotion to autonomy staff and attention to the Unit.
These are studies with a double dimension: professional and research.
On the one hand, it offers specific and practical training applied to the management and management of the services of the Unit and the promotion of specialized personal autonomy.
Likewise, the research training necessary for the doctorate is offered.
On the other hand, the Master's Degree in Applied Optometry of the University of Murcia aims to complete the training of graduates to strengthen their training, both from a professional and scientific point of view.
These two new masters are added to the Master in Digital and Analytical Marketing and the Master of Science in Physics, also approved by the ANECA recently and which will begin to be taught next year.
Renewal of accreditation
On the other hand, the ANECA has also informed the University of Murcia of the renewal of the accreditation for the plans of studies of the Master in Gender and Equality, of the Faculty of Law, and the Master's Degree in Teacher Training, of the faculty of Education.
The Master in Gender and Equality offers specialized training to design and implement policies with a gender perspective in the public and private sectors to achieve greater equality;
facilitate the application of gender mainstreaming in education and in the development of public policies;
as well as to obtain for the design, application and evaluation of equality policies in companies, educational and administration centers;
among other applications.
On the other hand, the Master of Teaching offers future teachers training to obtain the necessary skills to develop their work in Secondary Education and give them the tools so that they can face the current challenges of teaching.
