The University of Murcia presents this Wednesday, May 8, the fourteenth edition of the 'Corresponsables Yearbook', which will take place in the auditorium of the Faculty of Economics and Business, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The presentation is part of the 'Corresponsables Days' that will focus on 'The third anniversary of the SDGs and the current situation and the future challenges of the 2030 Agenda', and will put special emphasis on the role played by all organizations (private , public and non-profit) to reach more people, overcome current barriers and define among all what the next steps will be.
The program of the day will begin with the presentation by José Luján, rector of the UMU;
Concepción Ruiz, Councilor for Social Rights and Development Cooperation of the City of Murcia;
and Ricardo Martín, director of Responsible Communication (editor of the newspaper Corresponsables).
Next, two round tables will be held.
The first one will analyze the role of large companies before the SDGs, and will have representatives from Aguas de Murcia, Hero España and JISAP.
The table will be moderated by Longinos Mari'n, director of the RSC Chair of the University of Murcia.
The second roundtable will reflect on the challenges of the SDGs and will include representatives of Fundación Diagrama, Fundación CajaMurcia, NGO Coordinator of the Region and Murcia, and the Network for the Fight against Poverty and Social Exclusion (EAPN).
It will be moderated by Pedro Cuestas, director of training of the Chair of CSR of the UMU.
The closing of the day will be borne by Manuel Pleguezuelo, general director of the European Union, Foreign Action and Cooperation of the CARM.
