DEMOCRACY PLURAL requires the Delegation of the Government in the Region of Murcia to open to the public during the 24 hours a day of the Civil Guard Post in Cabezo de Torres.
Cabezo de Torres is the third most populated district of the Murcian capital.
Its population is around 17,000 inhabitants.
The residents of Cabezo express their discomfort because the barracks only opens in the morning, due to the lack of personnel.
Agents of the Civil Guard Corps, in addition to serving the population in the barracks, must perform patrol work in the areas assigned to them in that environment to ensure the safety of the people who live there and answer calls from emergency that may occur.
The problem posed by the residents of this district is that, in the absence of agents, they can not go to formalize complaints or perform other procedures in the afternoons, as the quarters of the barracks remain closed;
what forces them to move to the town of Santomera to complete the necessary procedures.
In view of the concern expressed by the neighbors, PLURAL DEMOCRACY demands the Government Delegation in Murcia the urgent replacement of personnel in the Civil Guard Post of Cabezo de Torres, providing it with a sufficient number of agents to be able to provide services to the citizens in the Post during the afternoons.
