The City of Murcia has already provided a special security and cleaning device for next weekend to mark the celebration of the WARM Up 2019 festival, which will be attended, according to forecasts, by more than 70,000 people.
The device of the Department of Traffic and Public Safety will be composed of 174 local police officers who will serve from Thursday to Sunday in La Fica and surrounding areas, camping area and concerts to be held in Plaza de Romea, garden La Fama, Calle Basabé and Plaza Apostles.
The agents will be destined to the regulation and cutting of traffic, control of the dissuasive parkings and next to the Fica, supervision of the security measures included in the self-protection plan, avoiding the bottle and the street vendor at the entrance of the premises, security of acts and avoid illegal camping.
The vigilance and control of anti-social behavior in the FCE's neighborhoods will be carried out by members of the Special Citizen Security Group (GESC), with the objective of minimizing the nuisances that such attitudes generate to the surrounding neighbors.
On the other hand, from the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services will be installed in the precinct of the Fica 55 containers of 800 liters, 26 containers of 360 liters and 3 containers for batteries, while in the football field of La Flota 20 containers of 800 liters will be placed.
In addition, portable toilets will be located at different points: 2 in Molinos del Río, 2 in Plaza Apostles, 2 in the Garden of Fame, 2 in the Plaza Julián Romea, 5 in Avda. Jorge Palacios and 4 toilets distributed by López Avenue of Vega.
A total of 150 workers will perform different general cleanings in the Fica's enclosure and areas of influence, in addition to the one that was already made at the beginning of the assemblies.
Thus, next Thursday there will be a new cleaning of all the spaces of the festival site before the opening of doors and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will clean the neighborhood of Vistabella, and Infante Juan Manuel, the parking of the shopping center near the Fica, the old Transport City, the margins of the Segura River, the path of the Mota del Río, the area of ​​influence of the camping on the La Flota football field and the Fica campus.
On Monday, May 6 and Tuesday, May 7, these general cleaning tasks will be carried out in the area and areas of influence.
The Department of Social Rights will have a violet spot in order to inform, raise awareness and prevent sexist attitudes and behavior against women during the festival from 17 to 23 hours.
