The LIFE AMDRYC4 project, coordinated by the University of Murcia and whose main objective is to find ways of adapting to climate change in rainfed lands within the Mediterranean area, has participated in the meeting of the more than 20 research projects currently underway. of our country that pursue the fight against global warming.
The event took place in Madrid and has been framed within the actions of the LIFE SHARA project, 'Sensitization and knowledge for adaptation to climate change', coordinated by the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition.
This day has the main objective of collaborating in the construction of a society better adapted to the new climatic scenario.
For this, it is essential to generate knowledge on this issue as well as increase social awareness through the dissemination and exchange of information.
In the first part of the meeting, the representatives of the different projects have met and made an introduction to the research they are developing.
In turn, they have made known the tools or results that are generated and that, in addition, can be useful for other colleagues.
A contact that has been very useful to promote collaboration and joint initiatives, as well as to obtain better and wider results within the adaptation to climate change.
