The presenter of Antena Sports 3 Manu Sánchez will be in charge of giving the kick-off to this popular race that will take place on May 5.
The entire collection of this popular race will go to the Marcelino Oliver Foundation project on road safety education in the schools of the Region of Murcia, with the aim of raising awareness among the youngest children.

The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, the Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, the Communication Manager of the Ponle Freno Circuit, Natalia Rico, the General Coordinator of the Ponle Freno Studies Center - AXA, Iñaki Lerga, and the President of the Marcelino Oliver Foundation, Nino Oliver, presented today the Ponle Freno Murcia solidarity race.
This is the third edition of the Ponle Freno Murcia solidarity race, which will take place next Sunday, May 5, starting at 10.00 am, with start and finish at the Plaza de la Cruz Roja.
The race will have two routes of 5 and 10 kilometers, in addition to the novelty of children's races
The test driven by Atresmedia, in collaboration with the City of Murcia, is the second stop of the Racing Circuit PONLE BRAKE, after passing through Badalona.
The AXA Foundation collaborates as the main sponsor and CGA as the official sponsor.
The entire collection of this popular race will go to the project 'The little Murcians with road safety', Marcelino Oliver Foundation and will be used to buy a series of bicycles and road safety accessories that can be given talks on road safety education in the schools of the Region of Murcia, with the aim of raising awareness among the youngest children about the importance of road safety.
The sessions are based on the experience of an accident and how alcohol and drugs have serious effects on the driving of a vehicle.
This Foundation dedicated to road safety and women's cycling was born as a result of the outrage of Marcelino Oliver, father of the current president of the entity, while riding a bicycle.
"After seeing everything that was behind a traffic accident, we say create the foundation to help families both legally and psychologically," says Nico Oliver.
José Ballesta stressed that "the prevention of traffic accidents should unite us all and this drive is a clear example of joint struggle between public administration, private enterprise, and civil society."

Two itineraries of 5 and 10 kilometers and children's race
'La PONLE BRAO' of Murcia will have exit and goal in the Plaza de la Cruz Roja.
It will start at 10:00 in the morning and will cross the area of ​​the Segura river bank with a flat altimetry that will allow all runners to beat their best brands.
PONLE FRENO will also have a children's racing program, which will be free of charge and will be carried out once the 5 and 10 km races have finished (these at a registration fee of 5 euros).
All participants of this modality will receive a medal.
The appointment will have the participation of Antena 3 Noticias sports presenter, Manu Sánchez -embassador of the initiative with the athlete Martín Fiz-, and will be in charge of giving the starting signal.
The collection of numbers may be made at the Atalayas Shopping Center (Calle de Molina de Segura, 10, 30007 Murcia) at the following dates and times:
