The City Council will develop the project that will put an end to the flooding problems on the Sucina road, former RM-F19.
This road currently has problems of transversal drainage along its route from Casa Pelada to the Estación de Riquelme, since the ravines that cross the road have undergone modifications in the original route of runoff and in the course of river water.
This causes torrential rains to seriously affect the road with flooding and trawling of agricultural land that leaves the road out of service at many points of the route.
It is necessary to remember that last year two transverse drainage works were carried out in the Borrambla ravine, which have solved this problem in the area they affected.
The works consist of adapting the road, so that the passage of the ravine does not affect the circulation of road traffic.
For this, batteries of concrete pipes will be installed, which will allow the passage of runoff water, executing on them the pavement and pedestrian road.
Likewise, ditches will be run longitudinally to the road that will also collect water.
The execution period is set at three months and the budget amounts to 170,598 euros.
The project is part of the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, coordinated by the Department of Pedanías, Participación y Descentralización.
