The Governing Board has approved the awarding of the conservation, maintenance and restoration service of the gardens, trees of alignment and medians and roundabouts of the municipality of Murcia and the necessary supplies for this.

Twenty companies attended this contract, promoted by the Department of Modernization of Urban Administration and Development directed by José Guillén.

Finally, the awardees have distributed the 7 lots in the following way:

Lot 1: Maintenance, conservation and restoration of municipal green areas and alignment trees of the Municipality of Murcia.

Awarded to UTE constituted by STV Gestión, SL and Actúa Servicios y Medio Ambiente SL

Lot 2: Maintenance, conservation and restoration of medians and roundabouts.

The successful bidder is STV Gestión SL

Lot 3: Maintenance, conservation and restoration of lakes and ornamental fountains.

The chosen company is STV Management.

Lot 4: Supply of flower plants for replenishment in green areas, medians and roundabouts.

Awarded Actúa Servicios y Medio Ambiente SL

Lot 5: Supply of materials for garden renovations.

Awarded to Turmur España SL

Lot 6: Supply of furniture for garden renovations.

The company that has demanded this lot is Ludomaquina SL

Lot 7: Master Plan of the trees, will be carried out by Tecnigral SL

For the first time, this contract is mixed, so that renovation, restoration and supplies activities related to the areas under conservation are going to be carried out, so it does not allow comparisons with the contracts made for this service in the awards. of previous years.

It will also be the first major municipal contract in which all the implementation of technologies will be compatible with the MiMurcia smart city platform.

As a novelty, the contract contemplates the revision and homologation of all the children's games of the municipality every two years, and a major renovation of garden furniture, where sources, shading system and children's play areas will also be protected. integral and adapted form.

In addition, it will mean the greatest transformation of the green areas of the municipality, encouraging all Murcia to its greater use and enjoyment, in order to increase their quality of life.

Another of the points taken into account by the City of Murcia is the conservation of the environment, requiring in the new contracts the incorporation of the use of 100% electric vehicles and the application, in all the processes that are going to be carried out, of products that do not damage the environment and favor the care of nature.

The duration of the contracts covers until November 30, 2022, except lot 7, which will be 8 months.

The award amount is 58,997,161.40 euros.
