288 people have worked during these two weeks of non-school period in the cleaning in depth of the schools of the municipality.
The 264 workers who carry out these works throughout the year have now joined 24 reinforcement to ensure that all educational facilities are in perfect condition next Monday.
The Councilor for Education and Heritage, Rafael Gómez, explained that "these tasks of cleaning, disinfection and sanitation, which are carried out with an action protocol specifically designed for this type of facility, are carried out in key periods such as spring in order to guarantee the safety and welfare of schoolchildren and teaching staff ".
This extraordinary cleaning takes place during the holiday periods of Christmas and Easter and Spring Festival and consists of the removal of walls, ceilings, doors, furniture, window frames, radiators, screens and points of light, cleaning carpets and carpets with machine vacuum cleaner and stain removal, thorough disinfection of toilets and services, cleaning of salvadedos and all the windows of the center, scrubbing of all dependencies, cleaning of pipes locksmith of aluminum, iron and wood and floor waxing.
The works are carried out by the winning companies of the different lots that are TSI Levante, Ferrovial Services, Sacyr (Valoriza) and Limcamar.
