The City of Murcia has approved an agreement with the Food Bank of Segura-Murcia to carry out various actions aimed at promoting the improvement of the employability of young people in the municipality through training in Certificates of Professionalism.
In this way, access and information necessary for the accreditation, by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), of the warehouse facilities of Banco de Alimentos is facilitated in order to develop in them the training associated with certificates of professionalism of commerce and marketing.
Likewise, the young people will be able to carry out training practices of the Certificate of Auxiliary Activities of Warehouse in their Murcia facilities.
This activity combines the dual purpose of carrying out internships with care for people at risk of exclusion, taking into account the commitment of collaborators with groups that need to receive personalized care and food.
The Food Bank Association of Segura - Murcia is a non-profit association that develops food collection activities, their management in storage, as well as preparing them for their distribution.
