The Department of Commerce and Institutional Relations has approved the public announcement of granting subsidies to associations of merchants of Murcia and Pedanías in the year 2019.

The objectives of this initiative, included in the Strategic Plan of Trade and to which the City Council allocates 200,000 euros, are the revitalization of local commerce, the creation of employment and the promotion of associationism.

The Associations of Retail Merchants, the entities that integrate several retailers associations and the Federations of the same that carry out activities directed to the dynamization, promotion, formation, as well as programs and activities related to the commerce and the associationism in the period between April 11 and October 31.

Thus, the City will subsidize commercial promotion activities, (events of revitalization of commercial areas and animation of the point of sale that aim to attract and retain customers, improve the turnover of stocks and reinforce the image of the paper developed by urban commerce ), commercial promotion campaigns through the raffle or direct delivery of prizes during the exercise of the purchase act, implementation of the trademark MUAC Murcia Commercial Area, or commercial innovation promotional actions (home delivery, create new marketing channels. ..)

Likewise, actions aimed at promoting associations and the creation of networks of trust, reciprocity, solidarity and collaboration with traditional commerce whose objective is to foster cooperation among retail merchants and their joint participation, and training activities may also be included in this call. and commercial innovation (training and recycling of human capital, improvement of competitiveness or talks, colloquiums or contests).

The maximum amount to be granted to each project or action will be up to 10,000 euros.

The deadline for submitting applications is set at 15 days counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia.
