Murcia will host next Friday and Saturday, April 19 and 20, the 2nd Baseball Tournament 'Check a goal for bullying', to be held at the Jose Barnés Football Field and in which 240 children from 7 to 15 years old will participate .
In this tournament, organized by the National Association Against Bullying, will participate, in the Benjamin category, the Real Murcia CF teams, Grana Academy, Ranero CF, Pinatar Baseball School, Cartagena Football Club and Montecasillas Football School, while in category cadet, will participate Real Murcia CF, Grana Academy, Ranero CF, Mar Menor CF and Cantera Fútbol Lorca Deportiva.
After the tournament will be awarded to the goalkeeper least scored, the top scorer, the best player and the most sporting team, although all teams, regardless of the results, will be presented with a trophy.
The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, has indicated that "with this tournament we seek to recover the values ​​of respect, camaraderie and tolerance to eliminate any type of discrimination in minors through sports." It is not a competitive tournament but of a day of coexistence and sport ".
The event, which will feature a foodtrack service, has been organized thanks to the collaboration of the National Association Against Bullying, the Department of Sports, the General Directorate of Attention to Diversity and Educational Quality, Primafrío, Terra Natura, Cajamar, Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, Mercamurcia, El Pozo, Aquadeus, Zambu, Don Simon and Hero.
