The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, attended the image of the Santísimo Cristo del Perdón in Murcia, "one of the most beautiful traditions of the Holy Week in Murcia attended by thousands of people," said the president. who also highlighted the "multitudinous" procession that takes place this afternoon in the neighborhood of San Antolín, and reaffirmed their respect and support for the customs and traditions of the region.

Until approximately the year 1970, the carving of the Christ of the Forgiveness was accompanied by four angels by the sculptor Juan González Moreno, in the four corners of the throne that, due to their delicate state of preservation, stopped going out in procession.

Next week these four sizes will be transferred to the Regional Restoration Center to recover their original image and in the Holy Week of 2020 they can accompany the Christ of Forgiveness.
