The Governing Board has given its approval to the award of the lighting project of the Archaeological Site of San Esteban.
Thanks to this action, new lighting will be installed, both in the areas where the UMU scientists are carrying out the excavations, and in the wooden path enabled for the passage of guided visits to the Arrabal de la Arrixaca network.
This is how the installation of 8 projectors is envisaged to illuminate the cemetery and the inn, where at the moment the archaeological research work is carried out, and the rest will be arranged with an LED strip for ground level lighting, where the pedestrian footbridge extends.
This intervention will achieve a double objective: to improve the safety of visitors and of the people involved in the excavations and to identify the work areas in the field.
The project has been awarded to the company Lumen Eléctrica SL, which will have a budget of 39,260 euros and a deadline of six months.
