The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, presented this morning the poster announcing the VIII Buñuelos Festival, together with the organizer of the event and owner of the San Antón hardware store, Ginés Monserrate, and the painter Marcos Amorós.
José Ballesta wanted to thank the praiseworthy work of Ginés Monserrate, a Murcia attached to the traditions and neighborhood associations, which shows off his Murcia from his San Antón Hardware Store, located on Calle Las Norias, number 5.

The festive event will take place on Thursday, April 25, starting at 10:00 am, and will involve the free distribution of 1,500 servings of fritters among the residents of the San Antón district, which will be served accompanied by hot chocolate.

Showcase: Huertana slaughter and Giants and Bigheads
Ginés Monserrate is carefully preparing every detail of this popular celebration that has already established itself as one of the most beloved of the Murcian neighborhood of San Antón.
Specifically, it is finalizing its Showcase Tribute to the Huerta, with a sample of the pig's slaughter, with sausages, traditional utensils, farm implements, etc., and its Showcase Tribute to the Burial of the Sardine, with a faithful representation of Giants and Bigheads of Abarán.
In both the artisan Jesús Navarro has collaborated.
