The Culture Service of the University of Murcia, through the Classroom of Visual and Visual Arts, has called new editions of photography and painting awards, which have a long career in the institution.
The eighteenth edition of the Photography Prize establishes an economic prize of 1,200 euros and four honorable mentions.
As a novelty, this year also includes a production prize organized in collaboration with La Cámara Roja, consisting of the printed production of an exhibition project and its exhibition in a UMU room.
The deadline to submit the originals will be from May 6 to 17, 2019.
On the other hand, the XIX Painting Prize will award the winner 5,000 euros and two honorable mentions will also be awarded.
The works may be submitted from June 3 to 14, 2019.
In both cases, the awarded and selected works will become part of an exhibition.
