The City of Murcia, through the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services directed by Rebeca Pérez, continues to improve the lighting of districts and neighborhoods of the municipality to ensure the safety of residents, energy savings and reduce pollution.
In this case, 10 luminaires on Calle Enrique Villar will be replaced by a neighborhood request to increase visibility and provide more lighting on this street.
In particular, the lighting level will be improved by more than 50%.
This will allow a power reduction of 740 W, which is a 35% reduction and 3 tons of less CO2 emitted into the atmosphere.
The new luminaires, LED type power 99 W, will be replaced by the previous ones that had a power of 82 W. During the next few days the light-emitting balloons existing in the alley between Enrique Villar and Santo Domingo will be removed. they will be upgraded to LED in the extension of Santa Ana Street and Caravija Street.
