The University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena signed on Friday with Estrella de Levante the agreement for the creation of the interuniversity chair 'Estrella de Levante-Campus Mare Nostrum'.
The signing took place at the facilities of the brewing company and was attended by José Luján, rector of the UMU;
Alejandro Díaz, rector of the UPCT;
and Pedro Marín, general director of Estrella de Levante.
This chair will allow the realization of research, transfer and training activities in areas such as the environment, gastronomy, scientific tourism;
as well as process innovation through the research groups of the two universities.
The chair will also allow the realization of courses and seminars and the organization of activities for the dissemination of culinary culture in relation to beer.
In addition, the agreement includes the traditional participation of Estrella de Levante in the University Welcome.
