The Young Space The Nave de Tocinos Bridge welcomes this weekend the 7th Ludus Myrtea Conference dedicated to leisure through role-playing, strategy, board games and simulation.
The Youth Service of the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services collaborates with the organization of 'Ludus Myrtea', composed of three Murcia associations: the Molina de Segura Role Association (ARMS), the Roleo Community Association, and the Marrangos Rol Club Association, who have prepared an agenda of more than 200 hours of games and 60 activities programmed for all types of audiences and ages.
Admission is free and free, as well as participation in any of the activities you host.
Attendees can play in the multiple role games offered, live role, in the demonstrations of table games, try new games offered in the playroom, participate in contests, raffles, and many surprises.
After the reception of the previous editions, this year will take place on the 5th, 6th and 7th of April in the Municipal Center La Nave Espacio Joven, in the Polígono Camposol of Puente Tocinos.
The schedule of the days will be Friday 5 from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 am, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Attendees will be able to play the multiple prepared role games, participate in live roles, in the demonstrations of board games organized by their own authors, try out the playroom novelties in table games awarded nationally and internationally, participate in competitions , raffles, plus many surprises.
Another novelty this year is that the conference will count on the collaboration of the Spanish Tolkien Society to bring the fantasy of Middle Earth to Murcia.
Thus, within the Ludus Myrtea we can find recreated a thematic space based on the work of the author of The Lord of the Rings, in which we will find multiple activities related to the universe of Tolkien.
"It's a great meeting for fans and those interested in role-playing and board games, where young people can share their concerns and socialize, attended by more than 500 people last year, and the organization deploys a team of more than 500 people. of forty people who work throughout the weekend attending the attendees and organizing different activities ", explained Councilwoman Rebeca Pérez.
The days have a wide variety of activities aimed at people who also want to have a first approach to role-playing games and board games, not just experts.
It has also enabled a space designed for children and their families, all coordinated by children's educators, where they can enjoy a wide range of activities and board games designed for different age ranges.
