The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, the Councilor for Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sánchez, and the Councilor for Modernization and Urban Development, José Guillén, together with representatives of members of the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías and some brotherhoods and municipal technicians of different services, have this morning the traditional tour of the streets of the town in order to check all the access and the good state of the various infrastructures necessary for the passage of the Holy Week processions.
The objective of this tour is to know first hand the needs of the different brotherhoods and eliminate any obstacle that prevents the good progress of the different parades such as cables, streetlights, containers, pivots ...
Thus, it will be necessary to remove cabling in the Plaza de los Apóstoles, different planters of terraces and public roads and signs of shops, and prune the orange trees of the Apostles Street and the Plaza de la Cruz.
In addition, sand will be thrown on Echegaray Street both on the pavement and on the sides to match it with the sidewalk and the banks of Basabé Street will be removed.
On the Platería street the hanging pots and those on the sides will be removed.
All cables crossing streets will have to rise to a height of 5 meters and a half.
