The best memory related to the Santa Eulalia neighborhood will have a prize.
That is the objective of the I Contest of Memories 'It happened in a shop in Santa Eulalia', promoted by the Association of Merchants of the neighborhood, which has the collaboration of the Department of Commerce and Institutional Relations, directed by Maruja Pelegrín.
The initiative aims to gather stories that deserve to be told and stories lived in the establishments of this traditional neighborhood of the city.
They can be events related to a store in the area, either because it is developed in it or because its protagonist is a merchant.
The presentation period will last throughout the month of April and the stories can be delivered in writing at any associated trade, but there is also the possibility of being recorded on video in a collective act that will be organized for that purpose.
The work selected by the court, which will be integrated by the board of directors of the association, will be handed over to a professional writer to give it an adequate form for publication.
The winner will receive a gift voucher of 300 euros to use in the associated establishments.
Merchants will also be able to participate in the initiative, although in this case their prize will be an accrediting diploma.
