The City of Murcia will convene a meeting of the Transportation Bureau to review the shuttle service "improvised" by the Ballesta government after the closure of the crossing at the level of Santiago el Mayor.

Thanks to a motion defended by all the opposition, the itineraries proposed by the municipal boards of the area will finally be put on the table at the request of the neighbors.

"The PP pretended to listen to the meetings in a show of false participation, now we have managed to review the current itinerary of the shuttles and adapt to the real needs of the south of the municipality," said the spokeswoman Municipal Socialist Group, Susana Hernandez

In addition, the PSOE in the City of Murcia has managed to take forward an initiative for the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities to restore the service provided by the Luz Project, which served minors victims of sexual abuse.

This motion, defended by the councilor Begoña García Retegui, denounced the abandonment of more than twenty children and their families so far this year to be excluded from the care currently provided, deriving them to Mental Health Murciano Health Service.

"The City of Murcia will demand that the Luz Project work again as it did to ensure that no minor victim of sexual abuse is left unattended in our municipality," Hernández added.

Unfortunately, in the case of the motion presented and defended by the mayor Juan Vicente Larrosa on the maintenance and improvement of the parks and gardens of Murcia, the votes against PP and Citizens have not allowed to approve an initiative that sought to improve these common areas, many of them submerged in the abandonment by the government of Ballesta.

On the other hand, the Socialist Group has voted in favor of the addendum to the use of the Nueva Condomina stadium by the Real Murcia Club de Fútbol, ​​hoping that the support of the consistory to the team will contribute to the improvement of their situation.

And, finally, the PSOE has voted favorably so that the amount of the remaining treasury is available so that the City Council can fulfill the commitments acquired in 2006, with the agreement, for the arrival of the underground bird and the works are awarded as soon as possible. to Nonduermas.

"It is a matter that should have come to the Plenary a long time ago because the time of awarding these works was going to arrive and the PP knew it, although it is late, we are glad that this step has already been taken in favor of burying for the good of our municipality ", concluded the socialist spokesperson.
