The Plenary of the City Council held this morning has unanimously approved the budget modification file that gives the green light to the 15.5 M € of the burial with a charge to the annuity of 2019.
The budget modification means that an additional 6.5 million euros will be added to the 9 million euros initially planned to raise the 15.5 million euros charged to this year's budgets.
This management was essential after the approval of the Council of Ministers, which entailed a change in financing and in the annuities that correspond to each of the parties.
In this way, the City of Murcia has completed all procedures-pending only the period of public exposure of 15 business days-to finance the main ongoing project that exists at the moment in the municipality, which is the burying of roads.
"It is a desire of all and a goal of the city and will put Murcia in its rightful place," said the Councilor for Finance, Contracting and Urban Mobility, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva.
Half of this action is in execution since November 2017, from the Camino de Tiñosa to the station.
Now it is pending to award the second phase that will culminate the project, whose tender was approved last summer and last week received the approval of the board of directors of the Murcia High Speed Society.
