The Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Murcia held on Friday the regional phase of the X Olympiad in an edition that has broken the record of attendees over previous years, with almost 300 enrolled from 38 secondary schools.
During the day, the participants had to perform a test on their knowledge of Economy and Business.

The students classified in the first three positions will enter the national phase of the Economy Olympiad, which this year celebrates its eleventh edition.
The day ended with the award ceremony for the winners, which was attended by Patricio Rosas, of the Association of Economists of the Region;
Antonio González, director of the Seneca Foundation;
María Senena Corbalán, vice-rector of Internationalization of the UMU;
and Samuel Baixauli, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UMU.
In addition, the ADESMUR (Association of Economics Teachers in Secondary School of the Region of Murcia) was awarded to the IES Juan Carlos I de Murcia.
This recognition is given to the center whose top three finishers occupy a better position.
Lecture by the Nachter influencer
After the completion of the Olympic test, the activity continued with the conference 'Entrepreneurship and social networks' by Nachter, entrepreneur who explained the business model of the influencers, showing some of the keys to undertake in this field.
