Councilor for Social Rights and Development Cooperation, Conchita Ruiz, has presented the campaign 'Murcia x Venezuela', along with Verónica Barcenilla, president of the Association of Venezuelans of Murcia.

The objective of this humanitarian aid action is to reduce the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela.

To this end, collection centers will be installed where people can donate medicines, vitamins, orthopedic materials, hospital materials, nutritional supplements, personal hygiene materials and non-perishable foods.

Currently establishments that have offered their facilities as collection points for humanitarian aid with the Cafeteria Upy Burguer (Plaza Sardoy 1), takeaway Point (Calle Jumilla 4) and K'fe Bar (Calle Gregorio Ordoñez 10, in Santiago el Mayor ).

The donations collected will be packaged by the group of volunteers and will be sent to the Fundación Regala un Esperanza del Estado Monagas de Venezuela;

Lida Marín, member of Volunteers x Venezuela that will manage the delivery to different foundations of the Bolívar State, to the Open Window Foundation of Carabobo State and to Dr. María Bolívar, head of the diabetes unit of Guanare Hospital in the Portuguese State.

In addition, informative talks will be held and solidarity events will be organized to collect funds for sending aid such as a Walk for Venezuela, a tasting of rice and arepa solidarity and a charity gala.
