Next Saturday, municipal buildings and river bridges will be dyed blue for the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Tajo-Segura transfer.
Specifically, it will be applied in the Annex Building to the Town Hall, Aguas de Murcia and surroundings of the San Esteban deposit.
In addition, the initiative includes the urban section of the Segura River, as well as the Manterola and Vistabella footbridges.
In this way, the city pays tribute to the four decades that this hydraulic infrastructure has provided flows to supply the population and enable the irrigation of crops in the southeast, contributing to the development, wealth and sustainability of the municipality and the Region of Murcia.
The extraordinary lighting will be turned off in the time slot from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm, when Murcia joins other 7,000 cities to commemorate "Earth Hour".
