The Association of University Radio of Spain (ARU) and National Radio of Spain (RNE) have signed a collaboration agreement by which both institutions join efforts to promote the presence of Spanish universities in the public broadcaster.
IradioUCAM is part of the institutions included in this agreement, the project that was born during the academic year 2009/2010 with programs made by students and teachers.
This year Iradio has released its ninth season.
The objective of this agreement is the diffusion of radio programs produced by university radio stations, as well as to encourage training initiatives that may be of interest such as courses, congresses, seminars, symposiums, etc.
The agreement has been signed by the director of Radio Nacional de España, Paloma Zuriaga, and the president of the Association of University Radio of Spain, Daniel Martín Pena.
The president of ARU has stressed that this agreement "is a privilege for ARU because it gives value to the university radios and the contents that are elaborated therein".
iradioUCAM discloses in its thematic programs such as university sports, alternative music, regional literature, among others.
The contents are treated from a different point of view with great freshness and the most important from the students' hand.
