Over three days, experts in fields such as literature, law, health, music, journalism or history will analyze and give visibility to social problems in their respective fields.
The conference will begin tomorrow at 16.00 with an event that will be led by the UMU's rector, José Luján, and will be held in the Hemicycle of the Faculty of Arts.
The conference presents an extensive program of conferences and round tables, which in the session on Monday will revolve around the world of literature and art.
The maternal figures in contemporary Italian literature, medieval feminist writers and the recognition of patrons of Spanish culture will be an important part of the program.
On Tuesday, March 26, the sessions will address issues such as sexual violence against women in Mexico, the role and experiences of men in the face of gender equality, Roma feminism and the historical absences and shortages of health care for women. , among many other topics.
On Wednesday, March 27, the conferences will analyze issues such as women's autonomous work, the role of women and girls in international action on climate change, the absence of scientific research focused on women, the impact of absences on migrant women and the absence of equality in journalism, as well as the issue of gender in health and aging, among other issues.
