In addition, a curb has been created to delimit the road and ensure the safety of the neighbors
The City of Murcia, through the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services directed by Rebeca Pérez, improves almost 100 lights from different streets and lanes in Casillas, where a power of 4,870 W has been installed.
The initiative allows to reinforce and improve the public lighting installations in Avenida de Murcia, where LED luminaires will be installed on metal poles of 8 meters high, and existing luminaires will be replaced because of their antiquity produce low light output.
A total of 62 luminaires are being installed to provide lighting to the final section of the Avenida de Murcia to Calle Cruz.
It will also act in other streets and roads of the district, where the installation of lighting will be completed:
- Rincón de los Sánchez, 4 points,
- Calle Aragonés, 8 points,
- Calle Gavilán, 3 points,
- Lane Malandras, 5 points,
- Rail Aceros, 8 points,
- Casillas de Coria Avenue, 2 points,
- Juan Antonios Street, 3 points,
The total installed power will be 4,870 W and the project has a budget of 64,265 euros.
It has also been repairing the shading of the Casillas ditch, which has a slab of prefabricated concrete joists that are in poor condition at different points, where there have been subsidence, affecting the safety of the neighbors.
In this way, the old forged and support walls have been demolished, the ditch has been cleaned, the support belts of plates have been formed, the walls of the ditch have been waterproofed, the alveolar plates have been placed for the new slab and creating a curb to delimit the road.
In total the floor has been renovated in an area of ​​42 m2, which has a budget amounting to 11,147.85 euros.
