The Murcia Club de Tenis 1919 presented the documentary of its centenary at the Filmoteca de Murcia before more than 300 partners in one of the main events of its program of events to commemorate this event.
The film, just over an hour long and directed by the Murcian production company Twin Freaks Studio, reviews the hundred years of history of the Murcian institution through a series of interviews with different figures of the tennis, social, cultural and political landscape , among which are, mainly, its most veteran members and some of the most important players in the history of the club like Juan Herrera or Nicolás Almagro.
The premiere of the documentary was attended by the president of the Murcia Club de Tenis 1919, Antonio Saura, accompanied by all the members of its board of directors, the club presidents José Garrido, Francisco de la Cierva, Manuel Fernández (son of Pablo Fernández), the counselor of Education, Culture and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cacha, the Minister of Development and Infrastructure, Patricio Valverde, and the President of the Regional Tennis Federation, José Alcolea.
There were also representatives of the sponsors of the centenary of the Murcia Tennis Club: Gesa Mediación, BMW Murcia Premium, Cajamurcia Foundation and Obra Social La Caixa.
