The Councilor for Education, Heritage and Relations with Universities, Rafael Gómez, attends the activity 'Tradiciones Huertanas', within the 'My city teaches' program.
In total will participate students of 3 and 4 years and 1 and 2 of primary school, from 25 schools of the municipality of Murcia.
Today it was the turn of 43 schoolchildren of CEIP Carolina Codorniú de Churra.
"This activity aims to know, disseminate and maintain the culture and folklore of the Region of Murcia through activities and workshops, thus encouraging participation in activities by awakening curiosity to understand our history and customs" highlighted Rafael Gómez.
Students participate in various workshops on agriculture, typical foods of the garden, interactive games on the different parts of the regional costume and typical games huertanos, bowling, petaca, caliche.
You also have the opportunity to visit the Belén de la Peña Huertana and plant a pot that you take away as a souvenir.
The activity is free, has two hours and the time is from 10.00 to 12.00 hours.
