The second edition of Creando Despacio, the initiative of contemporary craftsmanship Murcia Inspira, will star in a work so ancient and traditional in the region as is the esparto, combining design and tradition and fusing them into one.
Alejandro Sevilla del Baño and his team (Espartéame) will be in charge, together with Cervezas Alhambra, to combine pleasure, knowledge and sensitivity, on March 20, at 8:00 p.m., at the Madre de Dios restaurant.
Continuing with the format of close and intimate events that invite you to enjoy the "Momentos Alhambra" without hurry, the artisans will explain the creative process they follow to be inspired by each of their pieces.
In addition, they will show the collection of heads of animals made with esparto, with which they have had the opportunity to show their proposal all over the globe, from Canada to Israel.
The public can chat with them while sharing a unique experience, in a unique atmosphere, so characteristic of the events that Murcia Inspira has been organizing since last May.
Admission will be free until all seats.
Espartéame is a brand of creative products made in Esparto, based on the recovery of the art of this plant.
His project started as an End of Degree Project, but in 2015 it became a reality to recover an art that was gradually disappearing.
In this way, value is given to the trade that adds tradition and avant-garde, in a way of working that rewards calm creativity.
From this link of Cervezas Alhambra with contemporary craftsmanship was born Creando Despacio, a series of close encounters in small format, in which artists and craftsmen will show the secrets of their creations in an environment that invites them to stop and discover.
