The University of Murcia has organized the round table 'Science supported by Women in the UMU of the 21st century', which will take place this Tuesday, March 12, at the Hermenegildo Lumeras de Castro room (Espinardo Campus), at 1:00 p.m. .
The event was organized by the Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer, through the Scientific and Technical Area of ​​Research and the Research Area, and has had the collaboration of the Unit for Equality between Women and Men.
The round table will consist of a debate tribute to some of the emblematic women of the University of Murcia who have contributed and continue to do so to the research activity from the institution.
It will include interventions by María Dolores Tomás, Head of Research Area;
Ana María de Godos, Facultative of Scientific Instrumentation;
María Sánchez-Merenciano, Head of the Economic Affairs Service and Control of International Project Grants;
and Delia Bautista, head of the Scientific Instrumentation Section.
Moderation will be carried out by Antonia Baeza Caracena, general coordinator of Research.
