The Governing Board has approved the collaboration agreement between the City Council and the University of Murcia to carry out actions in the area of ​​selective processes and training of staff of both institutions, including the joint use of facilities and facilities.

In this way, the City of Murcia is committed to advise the University of Murcia in the procedures for access and selection of administrative personnel and services, provide them with the technical and administrative staff they may need to integrate commissions for the selection of administrative personnel and services, as well as spaces and facilities of the City of Murcia.

It will also take into account the access of the Administration and Services Staff (PAS) of the public University to the training plans of the City Council that are specifically agreed by both parties, and vice versa.

It will also act in the field of the use of spaces and facilities of the University of Murcia according to its Rules of Assignment of Spaces.

For its part, the University of Murcia is committed to providing the City of Murcia, if required, teaching and research staff and Administration and Services Staff to be part of selection committees and opposition courts access to the public function.

Follow-up Commission that will be composed of two members appointed by the Rector of the University of Murcia from among the staff assigned to the Technical Unit (UT) and two members appointed by the Mayor - President of the City of Murcia, from among the officials of the Council of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development of the City council.

The Commission will meet, in ordinary session once a year, and in an extraordinary manner, at the request of any of its members.

This agreement will be valid until December 31, 2021, being applicable to the selective and training processes convened since January 1 of this year and may be extended by express agreement of the parties, for a period of up to four additional years.

The extension of the agreement will be requested at least one month before the end of the validity period.
