The City Council guarantees the provision of public services, considered essential, on the occasion of the strike called tomorrow, March 8, through a decree.
The call for a general strike on March 8 is held for the following slots: between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m., for workers who have split days and continuous days tomorrow;
between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., for those who have continuous days in the afternoon shift;
and for those who carry out continuous work in the night shift, the strike will take place within the first two hours of the shift.
Before this strike call, last Monday, a meeting with the designated strike committee was held, reaching an agreement regarding minimum services.
In this way, the Local Police services will be provided with normality, in addition, in attention to the special situation that the call for unemployment may cause.
For its part, the Fire and Rescue Extinction Service will be covered by the personnel assigned to the guard, starting at 8:00 am, for each of the fire stations.
