The Local Urban Group, formed by municipal officials, holds monthly meetings, and aims to establish an exchange of experiences and best practices with other countries to promote innovation within the public administration, aimed at improving efficiency and efficiency in municipal management
The work will conclude with the elaboration of an Integrated Action Plan that improves the public service
The Councilor for Modernization of Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén, met this morning with the Local Urban Group (ULG) formed by municipal public officials that promotes, through monthly meetings, the development of an Action Plan Integrated, which allows improving the efficiency and effectiveness of municipal management.
This Action Plan serves as the basis for conducting a pilot experience at the municipal level.
It is framed within the European project 'Urban Innovator: Eveyone is an innovator', which is made up of six partners, apart from Murcia: Turin (Italy), Porto (Portugal), Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Veszprém (Hungary), Métropole du Grand Paris, (France) and Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
The general objective of the project is to establish an exchange of experiences and good practices of new mechanisms for training and training public employees, with the aim of providing them with new tools and knowledge that encourage innovation in citizen participation processes.
In this framework, Murcia will serve as pilot experience and will collaborate specifically in the following actions:
- Establish the methodology and roadmap for the implementation of Innovator
- Attend the transnational meetings projected in the project
- Creation of the Local Urban Group (Urban Local Group-ULG)
- Realization of a pilot experience in Murcia
- Dissemination and dissemination at local, national and international level
The duration of the project is 12 months and the overall budget is 60,360 euros, of which 51,306 will be financed by Feder Funds, as well as the DUSI Strategy, the MiMurcia project, Murcia Smart City, turning Murcia into the municipality of Spain with more FEDER funds, behind Las Palmas.
